Linore Cleveland has owned dogs all her life.  She has been training dogs for competitive obedience since 1988. Linore currently owns one Puli — who is in training for  obedience, agility, herding, and dancing. He currently holds AKC titles  in Rally (RN, RA, RE, RAE) -- the first Puli to earn an RAE, Obedience (CD), AKC certification in Herding Instinct and his HT (Herding Tested) title, and is almost ready to compete for his AKC CDX Obedience title. He also holds agility titles from AKC and from USDAA.  He has a W-FD/MF (Freestyle Dog/Musical Freestyle) title from the World Canine Freestyle Organization (WCFO) -- the first Puli to title in WCFO competitions.. He is the son of another Puli that Linore owned who was also clicker trained and earned her conformation championship (CH) using clicker training and earned Agility, Rally, and Obedience titles and certification in Herding Instinct and Canine Good Citizenship, also using clicker training.

Linore has taught competitive obedience classes both at the introductory and advanced levels.  She is currently a member of San Antonio Dog Training Club and taught clicker classes for them for three years prior to establishing KerrKlickers in the spring of 2000.

She has put obedience titles on her dogs (AKC: CD, CDX, UD; UKC: U-CD, U-CDX), rally titles (AKC: RN, RA, RE, RAE),  agility titles (AKC: NA, NAJ, NF, OF; USDAA:  SJ, SG), herding titles (AKC: IC, HT), freestyle titles (WCFO: W-FD/MF),  plus conformation championships (AKC: Ch).

She attends Clicker Seminars and has done and continues to do a lot of reading in the field, both in the published literature and on the Internet.  She attended ClickerExpo in Tucson in January of 2006 and ClickerExpo in Austin 2009.  This is a leading conference for Clicker Trainers with presentations from the leading experts in Clicker Training in the United States.  She is a member of the ClickerExpo yahoo group and reads the digests, exchanges thoughts, and continues to learn from the leading figures in the "Clicker Training" world.  She has friends who are Clicker Trainers not only in the San Antonio area but also in other areas of the country and exchanges thoughts and plans with them on a regular basis.

Linore's interest in Clicker Training began when she found  one of her Pulis disliking his obedience training and she began looking for a ‘better’ way to train. She is totally committed to "clicker training" as the way to get the very best from her dogs and from her clients dogs.  She and her students have made great strides with their dogs without the need for corrections or modeling (see clicker training terms for definitions).  Her dogs love to train and "Pout" when it isn't their turn to participate in training.
